Wonderful hosts. The resort is located right off the beach. The buildings and rooms are extremely clean and new. Location is close to everything in Plaka. Vineyards and Olive groves surround the area, with mountain trails to hike or run. The owners are a friendly local family and speak fluent English. My wife and I Stayed 4 nights with two teenage boys and had an amazing time exploring the island and staying at Ampelos. Highly recommend.

We recently stayed at Ampelos resort and were very impressed with the value for money and most particularly Evi, the manager of the resort was exceptional.

It was the best service and hospitality we have had in our time here in the Greek Islands. Evi went above and beyond to make us comfortable and was so friendly and generous – from picking us up at the port, bringing breakfast to us on our checkin, a snack on our check out, doing washing, organising places for dinner and hire cars etc.

The resort is very new with lovely clean rooms, WiFi, air-conditioning, a little kitchen and a balcony to enjoy your breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and we slept so well during our stay.
We were within meters of the beautiful Plaka beach there were always beach chairs available.

We higherly recommend Ampelos Resort for a relaxing, affordable beach holiday!

The hotel is very nice and quiet. It is very close to the beach in a calm part of the long Beach. The hosts are very nice too. We did enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place. You also should hire a scooter to enjoy the Island.
